A Safe Haven for Respectful Care and Gentle Birth

Our approach

We provide holistic midwifery care that honors the physiological design of birth while offering skilled, attentive support throughout the childbearing year. Our approach blends time-honored wisdom with thoughtful, responsive care tailored to each family’s unique needs and values.

We believe birth is a deeply personal and sacred experience—one where women deserve to feel respected, informed, and supported in making decisions for themselves and their babies.

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, we offer guidance shaped by your individual circumstances, always with an eye toward both safety and sovereignty. While some births unfold gently with minimal input, others may call for more active midwifery support. Our role is to listen closely, respond appropriately, and hold space for what your birth may ask of all of us.

We also welcome families who are planning wild pregnancies or freebirths, offering consultation, education, and postpartum support that respects your autonomy while ensuring you don’t have to navigate everything alone.

Our care is grounded in trust, discernment, and reverence—supporting you to move through pregnancy and birth with clarity and confidence, knowing your choices are respected and your safety is held with skill.

  • "A woman in birth is at once her most powerful, and most vulnerable. But any woman who has birthed unhindered understands that we are stronger than we know."

    -Marcie Macari

  • "To change the world, we must first change the way the babies are being born."

    - Michel Odent

  • "There is a power that comes to women when they give birth. They don’t ask for it, it simply invades them. Accumulates like clouds on the horizon and passes through, carrying the child with it."

    -Sheryl Feldman

  • “There is such a special sweetness in being able to participate in creation.”

    –Pamela Nadav

  • "Experiences have clearly shown that an approach which ‘de-medicalizes’ birth, restores dignity and humanity to the process of childbirth, and returns control to the mother is also the safest approach.”

    –Michel Odent

  • "However much we know about birth in general, we know nothing about a particular birth. We must let it unfold with its own uniqueness."

    -Elizabeth Noble
